Lion Creatives, in plain terms.
One page that states what the studio does, who it is for, how work is priced and how to start — written plainly for a person, or for a software assistant reading on their behalf.
LAST UPDATED 27 SEPTEMBER 2026 · LION CREATIVES · MARYLAND, USA
One studio, three disciplines.
- ALion Creatives.
A creative and technology agency: commercial film, photography, and the web platforms they run on, directed and built by one team. Maryland, USA; no walk-in studio — the team works remotely and on location, across the U.S. and beyond, on Eastern time. The people are named on the Studio page; who is on a project is stated before a client commits.
- BFilm & Video.
Commercials, brand films, documentary and long-form stories, event coverage with a highlight film, social content sets, coverage-only days, and edits from footage a client already has. Directed and cut in house.
- CPhotography.
People, events, products and places: event, portrait, product and property photography.
- DTechnology.
Websites and digital experiences; software, apps and AI; and the brand identity and design they carry — the mark, and everything it has to run on.
- EReach.

Clients who need the film and the platform from one team.
Companies, studios and organisations that need commercial film, photography, a brand, a website or a piece of software — and would rather one team direct the film and build the thing it lives on than have two vendors hand a folder between them. Work is primarily for clients in the United States; the studio also works with clients beyond it.
The problem it solves: most handoffs between a creative agency and a development shop lose something. Here the person who framed the shot can talk to the person writing the code.
A model is published. A price list is not.
- AThree shapes, four bands.
A project with a defined scope; a retainer for continuing work; or an embedded team inside the client’s own organisation. Each runs at one of four bands — Entry (focused), Considered (produced), Integrated (two disciplines under one engagement), Partner (embedded) — and every band is run by the people who do the work.
- BThree steps.
A conversation; then a scoped proposal, which is unpaid and carries a fixed figure for the scope it describes; then the engagement. If the scope changes, the proposal states in advance how the change is priced and approved. The full description, including the questions people ask most, is on the Engagements page.
- CFilm, video and photography.
Production has real costs before anyone gets creative, so there is a defensible floor. Starting figures appear as planning ranges inside the estimator on the Start a project page, once a project has been described. They are a starting point, not a quote.
- DBrand identity; websites, apps, AI and software.
An identity system has a knowable shape, so it is quoted as a figure in the proposal. A platform costs whatever its hardest requirement costs, which is known only after a conversation; no figure is published, and the figure is then fixed in writing.
- EBilling, deposits, cancellation and refunds.
Set out in each signed proposal, which governs the work. This website does not publish standard terms for them, and nothing on the website prices or commits a project. Nothing is sold online: there is no checkout, no account and no payment on this site.
Real work, and what happens to what you send.
- AProof.
The Work page shows selected projects at full size, across event film, vertical social film, photography and a live web platform designed and built end to end. One project, a proposal and a wedding told as two connected 4K films, has its own case study. Client work is shown with permission. The site carries no testimonials, awards, press mentions or client logos, and quotes no metrics; none should be inferred from it.
- BSupport.
Enquiries go to the founder, not to a queue, and are answered within one business day with a straight answer: a time to talk, one clarifying question, or a no with the reason attached.
- CPrivacy.
The site runs no advertising, no tracking across other websites and no cookies. It does measure its own loading speed: six timings per page load, sent to Lion Creatives’ own server, with no analytics company involved, no identifier attached and nothing from any form. Raw measurements are deleted after about 90 days. Beyond that it collects what you send in an enquiry or an email, plus ordinary server logs. The Privacy Policy names every third-party service the site uses.
- DThe forms.
Sending the enquiry form and confirming a booking each ask a real person to complete one human-verification step, and both endpoints are rate-limited — the studio hears from you, not from a script.
What this site does not do, and what to do instead.
- It does not publish a price list; production starting figures live in the estimator, and software has no published figure at all.
- It does not sell anything online: no checkout, no account, no payment.
- It has no walk-in address; meetings happen on location, remotely or on a call.
- Booking a call requires JavaScript; without it, ask for a time by email.
- Sending the form is the human step: an assistant can draft the brief, a person sends it.
- 01Understand the fit.
Read Services for what the studio makes and Engagements for how it works.
- 02Describe the project.
On the Start a project page, the estimator asks what you are making and returns a starting range where one is honest. Or write the brief directly in the form: a name, an email address, an optional company and the brief.
- 03Send it, or book a call, or write.
A free 15–30 minute discovery call can be booked from the same page against the studio’s real calendar. contact@lioncreatives.com reaches the same people.
Tell us what you’re trying to make.
A brief, a starting estimate, or a call. Enquiries go to the founder and are answered within one business day.
